The “Reading Sugar” campaign, with a bookstore concept, will run until March 16 at the Kyobo Bookstore in Gangnam. The campaign aims to help the public naturally recognize the importance of blood sugar management by providing information about blood sugar and its control.
The campaign features displays of key blood sugar indicators, including GLP-1, fasting blood sugar, post-meal blood sugar, HbA1c, and insulin resistance. Visitors will also be able to measure the sugar content of popular foods like tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) and ramen. Additionally, a curated section of books on blood sugar health, specially selected by Kyobo Bookstore, is available for readers.
Various customer experience events are taking place as part of the campaign. All visitors to the bookstore will have the opportunity to create a blood sugar management pledge card, receive blood sugar information cards containing details from the health books, and even receive samples of GLPro (Ginseng-based supplement) by participating in the event.
Furthermore, the campaign features health seminars, including a talk by a specialist from Kakao Healthcare’s AI-based blood sugar management app “PASTA.” The first health seminar, held on February 22, led by Dr. Kim Jun-hwan, an internal medicine specialist, received high demand with numerous applicants.
Another seminar will take place on March 8, and interested participants can register via the Instagram pages of Cheong Kwan Jang and the Korea Diabetes Association.
